Anyone in town still like Toast in Ferndale? I can’t remember why I ever liked that place. Seriously, what an overrated shitdiner. An hour and forty five minutes for overpriced diner food, rock hard cold toast and ice cold butter. And I can’t remember the last visit that wasn’t exactly like that.
Sorry. If I had my own blog I’d rant there but I don’t.
Yet I inexplicably remember liking it before I saw them there. Was I so susceptible to seeing avocado on the menu that I ignored all the other signs? I’m worried about me here, not the restaurant anymore.
I’d feel safer with a Palestinian kid, grenades in hand, than a child convulsing with the spirit of Christ anyday.
