Possibly back to a normal schedule this week. We’ll see. . .
I’ve got two very odd music videos for you today. The first from the much buzzed-about electro-rock duo, Johnny Headband. The Thompson brothers created the first video for one of their uncool-on-purpose tracks, “Pink Cloud In The Sky.” If you’re in the area this Friday, watch them run in place on the Lager House stage at 11:25–part of this weekend’s Summer Smash 2005. Watch the video. The second comes from another sibling duo from the area, The White Stripes. They’ve become popular with the kids lately, but I don’t understand them. They’re creepy, dress really strange and I think the brother had a short career playing the villain in bad French films. Watch the video for “My Doorbell,” which I think is about home improvement or something.
Doves are touring again, no Detroit date but they’ll be in Columbus on September 28th.
