There’s some strange new media player on this site that I’ve yet to figure out. On top of that, it’s been a while since someone’s yelled at me for posting unreleased music. So here are some tracks for us both to fuck with. Enjoy!
Metric - Stadium Love from Fantasies LP
Titus Andronicus - To Old Friend and New from My Time Outside The Womb EP
The Kills - Crazy (Patsy Cline Cover) from Black Balloon EP
Pomegranates - This Land Used To Be My Land But Now I Hate This Land from Everybody, Come Outside! LP
Deastro - Greens, Grays and Nordics from Ghostly SxSW Sampler and Moondagger LP
Removed at the request of faggotty lawyer-types: Grizzly Bear - Southern Point from Veckatimest LP
Bonnie “Prince” Billy - I Am Goodbye from Beware LP
The Hard Lessons - Sound The Silent Alarm from Arms Forest LP
DD/MM/YYYY - Infinity Skull Cube from Black Square LP
The Veils - The Letter from Sun Gangs LP
Removed at the request of faggotty lawyer-types: Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Skeleton from It’s Blitz! LP
Brendan Benson - Eyes On The Horizon from something that I could have sworn was slated for a March 2009 release

Jasper vs. the new Detour mixtape…
let me make a poll real fast!
I didn’t know they were doing that, Mr. Drama Queen.
But mine’s better anyway. Hopefully, they right-click and save some of these for next week.
A Yahoo! media player? Are you guys trying for the vintage look, now?
We are at the mercy of what is given to us by the one guy we know who can put a player on a website.
It’s either that player or “ERROR: Unable to create directory. Is its parent directory writable by the server?”
THL song is jammin’. good sangin’
The new THL album is gonna surprise some folks, I think.
What player do you sniveling bitches want?
DD/MM/YYYY with Child Bite and Lay of the Cid at the Elbow Room this Wednesday.
How much would it cost to spend a day with your music collection? And how about giving us something from the new Doves album that Last.fm tells me you have?
It wouldn’t cost anything. In fact, I’m researching some ideas to setup individual logins to a 2 TB media server. We’ll see…
Posting any new Doves tracks has the potential of getting someone else in trouble. I have to wait until it leaks from somewhere else first.
I was thinking about mentioning the DD/MM/YYYY show at the Elbow Room this Wednesday, but someone beat me to it.
“The new THL album is gonna surprise some folks, I think.”
I was surprised. I liked it for the most part. It’s a step, for sure…I’m not sure if it’s a step up or a side step (not a step back). I’m partial to old material.
DD/MM/YYYY is also playing the Pike Room tomorrow.
i think the new THL stuff is definitly a step forward. even the super poppy”See you again” from the myspace is way better than previous pop stuff like “See and be scene”
things i dont’ like…change
uhh pitchforks new site…lame
THL track is definitely better than “see and be scene” and the other stuff from around that time (with the exception of “i like your hair long”). So, I’ll put my money on the forward, and wait and see.
the new pitchfork….first time I went to it i thought i somehow ended up on the apple website.
I wondered why I hadn’t gotten any PF entries in my reader today. I have to go to that fucking website and manually update the news feed URL? What’s the new address, the old one isn’t loading.
they lost the media part, big time buyout of pitchfork.com = gigantic ad space right in the middle.
this is a request for a list of the top ten worse bands at the blowout. surely someone in this city isn t a genius
ands at the blowout.surely someone saw something that wasn t genius level
I heart Jasper’s playlist.
you set em up….we’ll knock em down

I’m excited for the Arms Forest. They’ve always had tons of range (All Over This Town and Milk and Sugar were both early songs) and just keep mining the various veins.
That Will Oldham song was surprising. You don’t often hear flute and pedal steel together.
everything, and emphasis on the everything I hear that’s synthy based is all a rehash of garage guitar riffs/progressions. me point out obviousnesses
You can write the same song for x years as long as you produce it according to popular trends.
Anyone hear the new Super Furry Animals record yet?
Thats a great Veils song.
…Thanks for posting the new metric song with that magical player that pops up from nowhere.
