“Kill” leaked some time last night or this morning. I think that means I’m allowed to say some things and post some things now.

First, if you didn’t already know, Millions of Brazilians (along with The Gay Blades) are supporting Electric Six on The Kill Tour. That, of course, is going to make blog trolls mad and people are going to say things like “I hate both those bands I hope their buses crash into each other”. And that’s cool. It’s the internet. But someone should point out what a great thing it is for a successful Detroit band to take a lesser known Detroit act out on tour with them. Not that it’s anything new, but they’re the ones doing it now — when people need to be reminded that Detroit still exists and is full or artists. (And the role of The Gay Blades could have been played by Deastro, making this a true Detroit Road Show, but that’s another story that you definitely did not hear that from me.) So anyway, give some credit to these guys for pulling locally whenever possible. Tyler may be living in New York, but band members and back-up musicians and even lyrics are pulled from Detroit. All right, fanboy time is over. Here are some songs for you to hate:

The Kill Tour Mixtape is located here. There are songs from E6 and MOBz that I know you don’t have. Free download. (The two tracks from the upcoming MOBz 7″ are in the sidebar there, too. Also free.)

And here are a couple tracks from the new album. The first one illustrates how awesomely guitar-heavy this album is, and the second supports my Detroit community ramble above, since Korin from The Hard Lessons provides back-up vocals.
